Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Omega Point Threat ID. By creating an account, running a sensor, submitting a tip, or using the feed, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Omega Point Threat ID ("the Service") is operated by Omega Point Solutions LLC ("Omega Point", "we"). The Service is a community bad-actor IP registry: it aggregates observations from member sensors, open-source intelligence, dark-web signals, and public tips, applies cross-source corroboration, and makes a scored reputation feed available to members. The Service also provides a public tip line and, for members, a $1 sensor program.

2. Membership & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
Community membership is free. On signup you receive a member token; you are responsible for keeping it secret and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information and use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with our Acceptable Use Policy.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Sensors & billing

Members may request sensors for a one-time provisioning fee of US $1.00 each, processed by Stripe. By paying, you authorize the charge.
The $1 provisioning fee is non-refundable once a sensor is provisioned, except where required by law.
Each sensor is issued a unique, revocable credential. You may run a sensor only on systems you own or are authorized to operate. Sensor keys can be revoked by you or by us at any time.
You must not submit fabricated, automated-garbage, or unlawfully obtained telemetry. Abuse results in sensor revocation and may result in account termination.

4. Feed use license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the threat feed within your own organization for defensive security purposes. You must not resell, redistribute, publish, or sublicense the feed, or scrape or bulk-export it beyond the access we provide, without our written permission.

5. Public tips

Anyone may submit a tip about a suspected malicious IP, account, identity, or domain. Tips are reviewed by an analyst and are not published; only corroborated indicators may be added to the registry.
By submitting a tip you represent that you have the lawful right to share the information, that it was lawfully obtained, and that it is provided in good faith and not knowingly false.
You must not submit personal data of uninvolved persons, or content that is defamatory, harassing, or unlawful. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
You grant Omega Point a worldwide, royalty-free license to use submitted information to operate, verify, and improve the Service, and to support lawful escalation to appropriate authorities.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, the registry, the software, and all related content are the property of Omega Point Solutions LLC and are protected by law. Except for the limited feed license above, no rights are granted to you.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind. Threat data is corroborating evidence, not proof; it is probabilistic and may contain errors or false positives. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. See the full Disclaimer. Nothing here is legal advice.

8. Limitation of liability & indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Omega Point Solutions LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any action you take based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which for most users is the sum of sensor fees). You agree to indemnify Omega Point against claims arising from your use of the Service, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

9. Termination, changes & governing law

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations or to protect the Service.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use means acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Venue lies in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
