Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 7 July 2026
Use Omega Point Threat ID for lawful, defensive purposes only. Honest tips, authorized sensors, and responsible handling of the feed keep the whole network trustworthy.
1. General
You must use the Service lawfully and in good faith. You must not use it, or its data, to harass, stalk, defame, discriminate against, deny service to, or otherwise unlawfully target any person or entity.
2. Tips
- Submit only information you obtained lawfully and have the right to share.
- Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, or retaliatory reports.
- Do not submit personal data about uninvolved people, or others' private information you are not authorized to share.
- Tips are leads for analyst review, not accusations — treat them accordingly.
3. Sensors
- Run sensors only on systems you own or are expressly authorized to operate.
- Do not use sensors to scan, probe, attack, or surveil third-party systems without authorization.
- Do not submit fabricated, automated-garbage, or manipulated telemetry, or attempt to poison the registry.
- Keep your sensor credential secret; report suspected compromise so we can revoke it.
4. The feed
- Use the feed within your own organization for defensive security. Do not resell, publish, redistribute, or sublicense it.
- Do not scrape or bulk-export beyond the access provided, and do not exceed rate limits or attempt to circumvent access controls.
5. The platform
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Do not misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
6. Enforcement
Violations may result in tip rejection, sensor revocation, rate-limiting, account suspension or termination, and — where appropriate — referral to authorities. We may act to protect the Service and its members at our discretion.
